i live in richmond's museum district, which means that i can walk or ride my bike to pretty much anywhere i'd want to go. except target, but that's probably for the best. i work as a scenic artist for the movie industry, when i'm not busy making other plans. this week, those plans involve studying for the lsats so that i can eventually get a degree in copyright law.

my therapist has been telling me for the past 2 years that it's okay to be brilliant, and i'm actually starting to believe him.

i'm a trained classical and somewhat trained jazz bassist who wishes that someone would give me a spare kay m1b upright, a writer who's been rejected by the atlantic monthly and new yorker (add mcsweney's to the list in a bit), and i gave david j my feather boa. i also make a killer omelette.

i just got 26 rolls of scotland photos developed. i'll post them as soon as i can find a negative scanner.
