ABOUT INFO : My photography is featured on the popular 'Visit New England' {www.visitnewengland.com/all/} travel & destinations website, as their primary source for photographic artworks, I contribute images that capture the region's iconic landscapes, hidden gems, and rich natural beauty, helping to inspire and inform visitors through visual storytelling. I get a ton of web traffic back to my website from VNE, so I consider that to be a success. I am also a featured photographic artist with White Mountain Puzzles, Inc. They are one of the longest running and top jigsaw puzzle companies in the world. I've licensed some of my Open Edition work to be manufactured & sold as 1,000 pc puzzles. I should also add that I was invited to be the first ever photographer to have their works exhibited at Bradley International Airport's "Art at BDL" showcased art collection beginning in October 2024. This was an honor to have been selected, and the first photographic images to be installed!

GALLERY & JUROR EXPERIENCES : In July 2024, I was an invited to become a member of Gallery25 in New Milford, CT, after earning top honors in their annual photography show and competition. I had entered my work as an "11th hour" decision, taking advantage of a brief opening in my Art Fair schedule. True to my priorities, I chose to step away after a very brief seven-month stay. Prior to that, I was a member, and would eventually become the Director of Photography for The Gallery @ Kent Art Association beginning in January 2023. My interest with the KAA was also fleeting, stepping away in about 9 months. Prior to the KAA, I served as a member and advisor for the Connecticut Art Gallery Board of Directors. I happened to earn Top Honors in their October 2021 Photography competition, where Emmy-award winning journalist Troy McMullen had served as a juror. Troy works with ABC News in New York City where he serves as executive editor, making this an honor to have been selected for 1st Place. I enjoyed my time with the CAA, I met some amazing people and fellow artists - and we all shared some fun late Saturday nights hanging out in the 2nd floor gallery in Thomaston, CT. Anyhow, as my juried fine art festivals really began to fill my schedule, by the spring of 2022 I had to move along. While I've enjoyed working with various galleries, art associations, and meeting many talented artists, my fine art photography business is my primary focus, requiring careful decisions about where to invest my time and resources.

In March 2021, I was honored to be selected as a juror for the "In Bloom" exhibit at Arts Center East in Connecticut. Years earlier, I was the first-ever Connecticut representative for the New England Photographers Guild , a role I held until 2015.

My niche is luxurious large-format fine art print media, marketed almost exclusively to a sophisticated group of art connoisseurs commonly known as the "Home Collectors Market". Basically, they are Art collectors with a genuine love for the work - as opposed to Investment Collectors that focus mostly on financial assets, and have a collection strategy. The Home Collectors market is a vital segment of the fine art world. They are frequently "repeat buyers" and love to support their favorite artists. Their budget is typically mid-range to high-end. Their support contributes greatly to the vibrancy of the art community. My best works are carefully curated as either Limited Editions, or Luxury Edition. Both include a signed Certificate of Authenticity, and tamper proof serial #'s as Provenance.

INSTAGRAM and Other Social Media : LOL! -- No Thanks! Not for a minute. I focus on creating meaningful art, rather than seeking attention on social media, as likes and shallow comments have never been my motivation. Seriously. It's always an honor to be selected for In Explore, but I don't get the adrenaline rush on Fakebook/Insta like some people do. There definitely is no monetary value to social media. And goddam!! Insta-Unfollow sucks. I enjoy Flickr.. you simply post pics, add a few keywords and descriptions, and then go admire the works of other talented and often unheralded photogs!

MY FACEBOOK PAGE : My Facebook business page is the only SM I use on a very limited basis - and I only established a FB page strictly because Google likes to see a Business page linked back to your website for SEO reasons.
