ABOUT ME: I’m a professional photographer; not unlike the incredibly talented artists (full-time professionals and serious amateurs alike) sharing their amazing imagery here on Flickr - many of whom I truly admire - and follow as well. With that said, I’m keeping things simple, written in first person, and personal here. You won’t find the full résumé-style “about” section I keep on my official website, as that kind of detail feels unnecessary among fellow photographers who share the same passion for light, composition, and the beauty of the natural world.

For me, photographing nature has always been something deeper than just creating pretty pictures. It’s a form of connection and quiet reflection. No matter how far I’ve come since I first started back in the mid-1980s, I’m constantly reminded there’s always more to learn and room to grow. I look forward to continuing that journey, exploring further and deeper than ever before, well beyond the postcard views that first drew me in 45 + years ago.
