Hello, fellow Flickrers! My name is Holly and I'm the founder/author/editor of Go Historic, launched in December 2012. I'm also the founder of Sacred Destinations, which I launched in 2005 and sold to a new owner in November 2014.
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Oregon, USA, but am quite smitten with the UK and Europe as well. I lived in Edinburgh for a year back in 2000, and more recently spent two years in Oxford for an MPhil (2005-07). After graduation in November 2007, my husband David and I spent a cold winter in Bonn, Germany, followed by six magnificent months driving all around Europe in 2008. We made another two-month trip to Europe in late 2010.
At home in Oregon, I keep busy sorting and editing our gazillions of photos, doing a bit of local travel, and working hard on my various website projects.
Many of my photos are available for licensing. If you're interested in this, please send me a Flickr message or e-mail me with your requested use.
For those who wonder about such things, my profile pic is of Great Haseley Church in Oxfordshire, England.

Holly's photostream is one that worth stand by it for one moment and look inside. It is not usual, it is a history of the world. Believers or not, it should be interesting to anyone who merits humanity and history.

Holly has put together a very fine collection here on Flickr, the raw material for the Sacred Destinations Travel Guide. There is so much to look at here and enjoy in her work. It is lovely to see the links between different places and architectural styles both here in England and in Europe. This is very clearly a work in progress and a labour of love, and I watch her work with a keen interest. Both the photos in her stream and the web site are very well worth visiting.
