Originally from Austria and now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I travel widely and use photography as a way to explore and remember the world. What began as a way to document trips has gradually turned into a long-term visual journal of the places, wildlife, and everyday moments I encounter along the way.

My travels have taken me across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. I am especially drawn to small human moments, local life, landscapes, and wildlife — with a particular weakness for birds. Many of the images here come from longer journeys through places such as Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Rwanda, and beyond.

This Flickr stream is less about perfect images and more about curiosity, discovery, and the stories that unfold while moving through the world with a camera.
