The Estonian Floorball Union (until the autumn of 2001, called the Estonian Indoor Hockey Association) was founded on November 27, 1993. a in Tallinn. The founders were 4 sports clubs: Pärnu Vapper, Tallinna Estonians, Avinurme Avi and Spordiklubi Aeg, the latter of which still operates today.

Andres Kull took over the duties of the President of the Federation and Tõnis Teesalu became the Secretary General. In November 1995, Ain Lillepalu was elected President, who will continue as Honorary President from the end of June 2019.

Meelis Aab (President), Tõnis Teesalu (Secretary General), Marko Saksing and Rasmus Talviste are members of the Board of the Estonian Indoor Hockey Association elected on 26 June 2019.

Eesti Saalihoki Liit (kuni 2001. a sügiseni nimetusega Eesti Saalibändi Liit) on asutatud 27.11.1993. a Tallinnas. Asutajateks olid 4 spordiklubi: Pärnu Vapper, Tallinna Estonians, Avinurme Avi ja Spordiklubi Aeg, kellest viimane tegutseb tänaseni.

Alaliidu presidendi kohuseid asus täitma Andres Kull ja peasekretäriks sai Tõnis Teesalu. 1995. a novembris valiti presidendiks Ain Lillepalu, kes alates 2019 juuni lõpust jätkab aupresidendina.

26. juunil 2019 valitud Eesti Saalihoki Liidu juhatusse kuuluvad Meelis Aab (president), Tõnis Teesalu (peasekretär), Marko Saksing ja Rasmus Talviste.
