I really began taking photos while in high school in the 1980's - shooting 35mm with Minolta cameras. In college I did a fair amount of B&W and spent many hours in the darkroom.

I reluctantly made the leap to digital, and now I rarely look back. Shooting with Canon EOS equipment became a natural transition until the weight of the DSLR and too many lenses became a burden.

In late 2017 I sold all of my equipment and chose to move to Fujifilm. Photography is becoming fun again.

I'm always looking to improve, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I'd love to meet more photographers from the Portland area.
