It takes a good look to see the finer details of any object or organism, but it is not possible to see the whole constitution of any one thing.

 

Emotions and recollections attach to what is observed while observing. With this the whole of the image changes, as does opinion. It is this subjectivity of our senses that I wish to adress with my photography. My style is abstract, I try to capture unseen parts of concrete parts of our material world.

 

In the plant world I find most of my inspiration. Flowers can be captivating but difficult to record by camera or eye. Is my style of photography an objective representation of the flower? This question is difficult to adress and I let this open to interpretation of my work.

 

I think it does as much as our memory does.
