my name is ryan. my first exposure to the visual arts was that of cinematography. i pursued the education and advancement of knowledge in filmmaking and it wasn't untill i got fed up with compromising the artistic integrity of my work for those i worked with, that i decided to take a step back and pick up still photography. i fell in love. i still thoroughly enjoy the art of film but have found a sense of individuality and freedom in photography where their are no discussions, no meetings or agreements, no compromises. Nothing can hold me back.
