For my Nova Scotia and Iceland photos, I was able to use my sisters Panasonic Lumix DMZ-LZ1, and during my trip to Nova Scotia with her, I used her Nikon D40X a little bit.

Just prior to the trip to Nova Scotia, my DMC-LZ10 developed some dried moisture on the lens. I've managed to edit most of this out of the photos that I've posted, but if you look closely you'll see where this was done.

My favourite things to shoot include: manhole covers, signs, monuments, things in other languages, animals, fantastic landscapes, abandoned things, ruins, and urban/rural decay.

I do all of my editing using The GIMP.

I'm still pretty new at this. Feel free to share any tips or suggestions you may have.

I like to write the descriptions in German and Icelandic, as it's good practice for me. :)
