My interest in photography extends back to the 1970's when I was introduced to the many various landscapes of the southwestern U.S. As a student, and later professional geologist / geophysicist, my inspirations came from the mountains and their seasonal and habitat beauty. There is nary an outcrop that I am not skidding to the side of the road to explore, and my passion for hiking and camping gets me into locations that are both stunning and reveal the long history of the earth. It's my pleasure to be sharing these moments of natural beauty with you.
