Born and raised in Amsterdam I now live in Rimouski (Quebec, Canada). It's a much smaller place but as everyone who has lived in Amsterdam knows, Amsterdam too is just a little town :)

I love taking photos. The visual surprises that await you when you check your photos full screen... amazing.

Bringing my camera with me almost anywhere, almost all the time has changed the way I look at the world. Looking at beauty and elegance revealed in common shots of common places shows how visually stunning the world around us often is.

Over the years I've used Flickr as a photo backup service. Since March 2010 I use Picasa for that and am using Flickr to share and comment on photos.
