Originally from Yeovil and now in Bristol. I started studying art at Yeovil college in 1993 and left in late 1995 after finding something more interesting to do with my time.
In 1998 I came to Bristol to visit some friends for the weekend... I'm still here.
In the same year I was bought my first SLR, a Minolta X700 which sparked my keen interest in photography and spurred me into learning more. Firstly just by trial and error. In 2000 I completed a foundation in Photography at Filton college and went on to drop out of a degree in photojournalism at The Swansea Institute. I then went on to work for a short time framing, mounting and spotting prints for a portrait photographer ( in the days before digital really kicked off) , Then worked for Calumet photographic for a year (when every photographer in Bristol was waiting for up to 6 months for Nikon D1H and D1X), Before starting in a career in organic food, obviously!
I now have a Nikon D80, which is something of a step up from the old Minolta, at least 2 decades of technology if not more. Recently I purchased on an Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 MF Aspherical Circular Fisheye, which is totally manual and I'm having to think like a X700 user again, I also have just got a sigma 70-300mm APO f/4-5.6 DG APO Macro. Therefore I though it was about time I made more of an effort. Any aspirations of a full time career as a photographer are now very much a thing of the past. I gain a lot of pleasure from the process and results and am a little surprised to find out how much of a geek I have become..
So here you go these are some of my photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy the time spent taking them.

I've just got my first Mac and a copy of lightroom 3, what fun!. Finally I don't have to wait 10 minutes for my ancient laptop and photoshop to argue it out.
