Michelle's childhood was heavily influenced by pastures, honeysuckle vine, electric wire fences and rope swings. A photographer by DNA, she was her father's lighting assistant since she was big enough to hold a reflector.
In 2006, she graduated from Lamar University in SE Texas with a useful degree in Fine Art. She has exhibited in Texas, and Arkansas. She received the "Judge's Choice Award" from Juror, Clint Willour, Curator at the Galveston Arts Center, at TASIMJAE in 2007. Her debut solo show opened May 2008 at The Art Studio Inc.
Michelle has been working in Southeast Texas museums since 2006 and was the Registrar at the McFaddin-Ward House Historic House Museum since June 2008- June 2019. She has shifted her attention back to the Fine Arts in 2020 and currently works at The Art Studio, Inc., curating the pop-up series of exhibits.
In her free time, Michelle records her life experiences with film and digital cameras. She enjoys her bike rides and collecting vintage photography.
