I'm an artist living in Colorado. I lived in Japan for 2 1/2 years studying tea ceremony and Zen and have been heavily influenced by the arts and aesthetics employed by them. I work mainly with wood, bamboo, pewter, and clay. Most of my work is functional art. I love textures, contrast, and mixed media so most of my pieces make great photographic subjects as well.
