Headquartered in Howard, SD, the Rural Learning Center is dedicated to helping rural communities discover their paths to vibrant futures. Beginning in the mid-1990s as a grassroots community development effort, the Rural Learning Center has initiated economic and social transformation in Howard and surrounding Miner County.

Based on proven experience in Miner County, South Dakota, the Rural Learning Center team works to bring new hope to small communities in Rural America.
