My other camera is a Speed Graphic...

For most of the 60's I resisted going to larger formats - I was happy with my Minolta SRT-101 that a friend had bought me in Hong Kong on his way back from Viet Nam.

I bought a Mamiya Standard Press 2-1/4 X 2-3/4 around 1970, but still worked mostly with the 35mm.

A couple of us started doing articles for Desert Magazine and Four Wheeler, and they preferred 4X5 for color. About the same time I was offered a 4X5 Speed Graphic by a friend for $200, in the case with a dozen film holders, and the fun began.

I have a collection of Graphic/Graflex cameras:

The 4X5, of course

A 4-1/4 X 3/14 used by a chaplain in Korea

A 2-1/4 X 2-3/4 that I fitted with a Mamiya Press back

My Dad's 2-1/4 X 3/1/4 Graflex

A couple of 2-1/4 square National Graflex's, one of which is in the original box

A Twin-lens 2-1/4 Graflex

A Stereo Graflex

Most have the 'distinctive' Graflex focal-plane shutter, although I always use the shutter in the lens except for the 2-1/4 X 3-1/4 Graflex, which only has the rear shutter.

I have recently gotten some 4X5 Ektachrome E100G, and am going to warm the old Speed Graphic up again!

I have acquired a Bender 8X10, and found a Commercial Ektar for it- I have made a few paper negatives with it before investing in some film.
