Drag to set position!
I’m an Architect, but I don’t practice…
I dreamed of being a Musician… worked on it, not anymore… (maybe again in the near future??)
Now I work as an Art Teacher on a public high school.
I’m very curious, and try to learn as much as I can from every single experience.
I don't consider myself a photographer.
A photography lover, maybe...

Thank you for visiting my photos.
Sometimes it's just not possible to reply your comments, but you must know
they are much aprecciated!
I'm so sorry
but, after realizing the "fragility" of exposure in the Net, I've set all my photos as private. I realized then that all favorites were lost, but I won't loose the comments and visits of my friends here. So I'm replacing them, one by one, which can't be done as fast as I would like. I also notice that the date is also changed to when the new version was made. So, never mind about "date taken"... oh dear, more time to loose while replacing photos... what a mess!
For those who hate watermarks,
I hate them too, but I couldn't find an alternative to this "protection", altough a very week one, together with small versions... I also hide EXIF data on my photos, so what? Enjoy the photos, metadata won't give you more knowlegde than a good reading about photography ;-)
MY WORK HAS VALUE!
My main concern on Flickr right now is the infringement of the API Terms of Use,
from less "serious" 3rd party developers.
It's becoming quite commun to see ARR photos, or photos without download
permissions, available "anywhere" without consent.
In case you're interested in this subject, take a look here:
If you're interested in protecting your photos, the best advise is:
upload them small, and place a big watermark on it ;-)
But if you're really interested in protecting your photos, don't post them on the net,
or set them as private.
????
This is the argument used by people that don't care about copyright at all. They have the wrong ideia that once you share a file, no matter what, its automaticaly public and anyone can use it. Just consider an art gallery, are the pieces displayed freely available just because they are shown instead of hidden inside a "safe deposit box"??
So much for the "sharing" concept...
This seems more like a "jungle", and we're here to be predacted?

There are more things in Life besides Flickr...
How come that a large number of people in the world is starving,
while a few are getting a major payback on this situation?
And more, and more than that.
What are we, as humans, conscient and responsable, doing with the planet and nature?
More examples?
... do you like fur?

If you see my photos too dark, it can be due to different monitor callibrations.
I use a TFT-LCD "Sony SDM-X52", calibrated here:
www.photofriday.com/calibrate.php
Can you distinguish each grey value?
