To make a living I work within computer science. Back in the 80's I was hooked.. however for some reason I was from the very first only interested in the visual possibilities of these new "beasts".
This brought me through an era of "Turtle graphics", multimedia, dot-com bubbles, virtual reality, computer games, visualization, simulation, stereoscopy, etc. - yep, pretty geeky stuff!
These days I roughly do the same. Create software for visualization of Architecture, etc. However I'm also involved in the creation of smaller kid's games. "The adventures of the bicycle mosquito Egon" is one good example.
I like to meet people who do strange stuff, have opinions, are inspiring and get inspired.
I personally are quite visual, I love everything from a beautiful sunset to a rough graffiti painted wall, to the fine fibers of a leaf, to the imaginative story of a pair of old shoes.
I guess I like people who share this interest in both the big AND the small details of our world.
