Photography has been my passion for many years. After the small pocket devices of the 70s, I crossed the teenage period with my first reflex camera, a simple Zenit E (Russian) and the classical 24x36 format. The quality of the photos depended of course on the shooting, but also the expensive cost of roll of film and development chosen. When, despite its sturdiness, a bad fall in hiking put it out of order, I decided to wait to take another step ... Being specialized in electronics, I knew that one day digital cameras would replace film cameras. I started buying a SONY DSF-505, which had a superb Carl Zeiss optics, but a sensor of a ridiculous resolution today ...

As my academic work then led me to take an interest in stereoscopy for viewing molecules in 3D, I logically wanted to reproduce this age-old photographic science with modern digital devices. As an autostereography cross-view enthusiast, I began sharing photos with Yahoo, then Flickr ... I opted for two Nikon D80 cameras. I tinkered with my own sync trigger and enjoyed myself for a few years.

The passion for 3D has gradually given way to a quest for quality and aesthetics, without giving up my scientific curiosity. Caring for details, I needed a precise camera. I tried some D300 and D700 and I ended up choosing a D810.

I don't have some favorite subjects. I am interested in everything. Everything marvels me. I don't broadcast a lot of portraits because it's not my job and the subjects are mostly friends or family. My photos of people therefore remain essentially private.

On the other hand, I realize with the time that I have a preference for large and contrasting images. It's finally maybe a little my personnal style ...

In any case, I hope you enjoy my photos and I hope that they give you a little emotion as they give me pleasure to share them with you.
