Amateur photographer (or hobby photographer?) from Kiel (Schleswig-Holstein/Germany), born in 1964, first compact camera (REVUE matic 110-X) at the age of six years, first reflex camera (Minolta SRT 100X) at the age of 13 years.

What do I take pictures? Nature, animals and plants, landscape and cities, architecture and people – actually everything, in short: a Sammelsurium, a hodgepodge.

Most of my photos have a Creative Commons license and are free to use - I am looking forward to a message (s.a. about Creative Commons licenses).

I must confess that I use Flickr to back up all my photos - even for the bad photos:

be it that these photos are important to me and to me known persons;

or that the analog images (slides and printed photos) are good, but the scanning does not.

And even the bad photos are time documents and historical evidence that I would like to share.

But maybe some photos are good (or better ...)?
