When I was little, camera was the thing I dreamed to have! My first photo experience was from my uncle's Seagull 120 camera. I still remember the excitment when I was holding the camera and looking at the image from the big glass viewer. That was a very luxury item in ordinary household at that time in China.

 

I had my first roll of color film in the early 80s. I was still a very poor university student and tried to make a trip to Beijing in a summer vacation. Color film was seen only from professional photographic studios, and it's very expensive! My roll of color film for the trip to Beijing was given by my friend Yu Liu. Liu gave me a voucher for the processing film and printing of color photo as well. (he knew that not many people could afford the expensses to process color film or print color photo).
