After studying history and geography, I specialized in urban studies and quantitative methods, then worked for the city of Lausanne, managing a small research team who was studying the urban dynamic with statistical data.

Now retired, I have kept a strong interest in every thing concerning the built environment, the space in which we live and the way men modify it. I don't observe it through statistical data anymore, but through photographs.
