Impressions

 

This album shows some of my recent images, mostly using ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) techniques.

 

They are all "real" digital photos: Photoshop is used only for color, lightness and contrast enforcement. But exposure times are long (usually from 1/4 to 1 sec), to show movement of subject and/or camera. Canon 5D and Mark III, with a deep gray filter (ND8) is used when the daylight is too much even for ISO 50. For some B&W images I used slow sync flash to fix movements.

 

The treatment is optimized for printing. I print the images myself on an Epson inkjet printer, mainly on high textured fine art paper, to achieve a "watercolor" effect.
