I'm a born-again, cameraman, although I did attend art college and studied photography but that was many years ago. However, I've always had a camera around me, (earlier it was Leicas and then, more recently, digital compacts). I bought my first DSLR, early in 2011 and it has opened up a whole, new world of opportunities, for me. I'm still learning. My work, as you can see, is fairly varied but with a leaning, towards macro and landscape/seascape work. I really want to do more portrait work, in the future. It's just finding people who are trusting enough and also finding enough confidence, myself. I bought a Leica, so that it glowered at me, from the shelf, saying, 'I'm expensive, get out and use me!'
