Hello and welcome to my profile page. I am am engineer by training, and I have been a serious photographer since 1980. My interests include people and portraits, landscapes, wild life, urban / cityscapes, macro / still life, and street photography.

There are three things I strive to achieve in my pictures: technical excellence, artistic expression, and a journalistic story. I find the third element, telling a story, the most challenging! I look for these elements in others' photographs.
