I purchased my first DSLR camera a little over two years ago, not having the slightest clue about photography. I have learnt a lot over the last two years by taking a hand full of shots in Auto mode and then biting the bullet and shooting in manual since. Plus studying thousand of picture from various sites, reading books and taking over 10 thousand captures. The best part is that it a constant learning experience that will last for years. The worst part is spending more money than I make for lenses and other equipment.
