I'm just an amateur who got a digital camera not too long ago. I've got a lot to learn!

I've always admired photography; my dream is to travel abroad and work for National Geographic someday. My favorite photographers include Lynne Davis, Steve McCurry, Sam Abell, George Steinmetz, and Elizabeth Carmel.

I enjoy visiting State and National Parks and Heritage Sites; one of the aims of my photography is to spread awareness of the beauty and heritage that is available to us in our backyards. Thousands of acres of historic sites and battlefields are disappearing every year--swallowed by the behemoth chain stores and absorbed by the relentless advance of Generic Town USA. Mega malls and housing developments are destroying our precious national heritage in hundreds of places, not to mention destroying habitats and irreversibly altering our ecosystem.
