I am from Ireland, I moved to Newcastle almost 5 years ago, I am lucky that I live in such an amazing place. I now live 5 minutes from the sea and 3 hours from the lakes, it does not get much better than that.

I was a prolific poet until I started taking photos, now I want to explore merging the two. I have started with other peoples work, Thomas Hardy and of Shakespeare's Sonnets.

I am looking forward to learning more about photography and viewing other peoples excellent work.

August 2009 up date:

I am totally addicted to flickr, it is rare I think to find a cyber space that make people want to be so creative and supportive. I think this site is amazing, I love posting shots, and I totally love seeing what my new found friends are posting. It is a lovely part of my busy day. I have loved watching people get better, braver and more creative with their work. I have been lucky to have some very lovely people comment on my photos. I have to say being on this site has made me want to take more photos and be more me in what I do. I totally love it.

So to all you wonderful flickr people, thanks for having a look at my photo stream... I look at yours and I love it.
