Robert Wade (Wadey)
Drag to set position!
Live in Rossendale, Lancashire, married and we have four grown up children between us. Not really one for travels and holidays but had a week on Anglesey a few years ago. Both dog lovers. Don't know anything about photography but my wife bought me a camera for my fiftieth so giving it a go. Love East Lancashire and it's people and have become a bit of a Flickr addict.
Also a member of www.rossendaleonline.co.uk/
which is well worth a visit. If you want any of my photos for anything please take them.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 2000 and the only other thing I use is the free download Picasa 2 for cropping etc.
If you would like to know where the photos were taken please visit www.geograph.org.uk/ and search wadey and it will bring up the mapping information

Whilst I don't know wadey, he obviously lives very near to me. I just love the way he's creating a snapshot in time of the area and some of the people that live here. It's interesting to see his perspective on the area and see places within a few miles of here that I didn't know existed, and it will be fantastic to … Read more

It's interesting to see his perspective on the area and see places within a few miles of here that I didn't know existed, and it will be fantastic to look back on his record of Rossendale in 10, 20, 30 ... years to come. Please keep it up!
