I've loved taking photographs from a young age but had not explored taking up photography as a hobby until very recently. I had only ever used consumer point-and-shoots before 2009, when an increasing dissatisfaction with my results led me to purchase my first DSLR: a Canon EOS 450D.

Since then I've been exploring photography and I love my camera, it's flexibility and the results it can deliver. It's safe to say that it will be some time before my capability as a photographer will catch up.

I don't think I have a particular style or favourite subject matter yet. I like to experiment with different things. One thing I'd like to do more of is travel photography — but then who wouldn't want to do more travelling?
