Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I have always loved photography since I studied it briefly in my 20’s. My fondness for the beauty captured on film led me to Flickr where I would initially come to be inspired and soothed by the beautiful images found on these pages. Then in 2006 I got my first digital camera and experienced the fun of posting, getting feedback, learning new things and meeting my contacts.

I hope my joy in taking and creating images comes through in what you see on these pages.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer in August, 2010. I have decided to chronicle my journey with this illness on another Flickr site - www.flickr.com/photos/mycancerjourney/ - although I have posted my first two photos here. Please read my profile there to learn more.
