Hi to all who come to view my profile ,I have always loved the visual arts and nature and all things around us .Photography is just one of my interests I have "as there is more to heaven and earth then we can ever know!"and it never ceases to surprise and amaze.

..I just discovered Red Bubble and Imagekind And will add to them slowly !

The first cameras that I ever used were SLRs in the Somerset college of Art and Technology as part of A National Diploma in General Art and Design course.

I have just found this Application "Group Commenter" that helps you give out comments for award groups or fave images, very quickly ,It works on the new pages and it is not a Firefox ,Greasemonkey reliant script but a desktop application that more browsers can use !

HELPFUL NAVIGATIONAL TIPS, FIREFOX, GREASEMONKEY ETC.

 

I am including some information and links I had accumulated over the last year about navigating flickr and Explore...

 

Here are some basic info and links to help navigate more quickly among the thousands of groups and posting awards ect...

 

1. GreaseMonkey... really makes life easier if you are on Flickr a lot, posting awards, sending flickrmail right from the users buddy icon... I use it all the time to help administration on my groups. It works with Firefox as a browser. Firefox is a browser system I prefere to Internet Explorer. It is a tab system so it is possble to open large numbers of flickr tabs and go back and forth between them . You can set Firefox up to use easily, and it does not eliminate IE so if for any reason you still want to use that one you can.

Once you have Greasemonkey installed, you need to add scripts. There are many available... here are links for a few of them:

 

Trailr is brilliant and helps comment and invite quickly I wouldnt want to be without it now ! It also leaves information on where you found an image you comment on ..You can find it here along with info on how it works and screenshots of it ...

I have found an Add on called Flickr Quick Comments which has been fixed to work on the new pages by Alesa Dam and a big thanks to him for working to try and fix some scripts ,Find some that work on the New pages here

Flickrfox is a handy little tool that has various settings including one in which contacts (or anyones) newest photos show up as they are posted in a strip down the left side of your browser page. This is the trick some of us use so we are able to post a comment on your photo before you are even done typing the title! The images come to us !
