The connection an animal makes when it looks directly down the barrel of your lens is a personal one - a split second shared between the subject and the person behind the camera. But, actually, this is not the only reason photographers strive long and hard to get the picture, sometimes under very unpleasant conditions and occasionally at considerable personal risk. It is first and foremost to show others just how amazing wildlife is and to foster a sense of concern for it and the inhabitans in which wildlife exixts"

Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Rachele, I was born in the 80s and I live in Italy.

I'm vegan, alternative-rock music lover, dreamer, easy to distractions, sometimes lazy and sometimes an eager beaver, always chaotic, quite pessimist (but less than before) and used to see the world through a viewfinder.

Animals are my favourite subjects, maybe because I love them ;) But I’m quite an omnivorous photographer. Music/live events, wedding and portraits are the fields I feel closer to my taste and attitude.

My current gear is: Canon Eos 7D; Canon Eos 40D; Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 IS USM L; Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM L; Canon 100 f/2.8 Macro; Sigma 85mm f/1.4 (the last lens I’ve bought and the one I’m currently in love with); Canon 50 f/1.8 Mk II; Tokina 11-16 f/2.8.
