2009: In 2008 I lost most of my vision. After one very expensive surgery and one less expensive but very painful surgery I can see color and tiny pretty things again. So many life changes: I left my big important bossman job, quit smoking, gave myself a makeover. I'd wasted too much time chasing dollars, suddenly I was unemployed and everywhere I looked the world glistened with joyous color After several near car accidents caused by my new found ability to see beautiful clouds and pretty butterflies, my sweetie gave me her old camera with the instruction to take pictures of what catches my eye (just not when I'm driving). I've been teaching myself photoshop (gimp2, actually). so many amazing talented people here. playing with pictures makes me very very happy... Update, 2017: All I think about is light and color and how to capture it. I get out of bed every day excited to see whatever the world has to offer. Lessons learned since 2009: friends don't let friends do HDR!
