I came to "frequent" Rory's stream initially because I was taken by his photographs of aircraft flying ow and fast in Snowdonia. I was envious of his abilities and have learnt a to from studying his shots. Then I was impressed by his landscape shots, which bring the area around Blaenau Ffestiniog and Trawsfynydd to life for me, especially dawn and dusk shots with all the range of colours those times of day bring. Occasionally there are fascinating photographs inspired by local life and sometimes by more weighty matters concerning life in North Wales. Quite an all-rounder in that sense, and whenever Rory comments it is helpful and pleasant.
