Bay area wanderer, sojourner, lost boy

I first scratched some words in a notebook in 1987 after the death of my grandfather. Before that I listened to others and kept things to myself - I was called a quiet child. I found dark words first followed by quick Bic pen sketches of various rock and roll bands at the time - I remember Dio, do you remember Dio? I stumbled through school eventually finding poetry to hold back the avalanche of what to do with my life. I remained in a kind of cloud through City and State college, picking up two degrees in liberal arts, creative writing, and English literature but I was no less prepared for facing that question again of what to do now? Fortunately I met the girl I had been searching for my entire life and together we escaped the hells of central California.

We've been in the Bay area off and on for the past five years and couldn't imagine living elsewhere in the state. I collected a masters degree from the Academy of Art University here in San Francisco, my focus on screenwriting and directing and only just recently completed my graduate thesis film Once Beautiful Past - visit the site at www.oncebeautifulpast.com
