For the last year and a half, I've been working in a place that, before I came here, would not have believed existed in the continental US. Dirty, muddy, backwards, much poverty amid the oil wealth. In the middle of the Permian Oil Field. What does work here, doesn't work very well. So, when I go back home on my bi-weekly trips, I look for every beautiful, civilized thing I can capture and commit to disk. The closest thing to scenery down here is at least three hours away. Anyway, I truly appreciate Ronny's pictures. Excellent photography, and I always look forward to new activity notices flagging his additions to the stream.
