Welcome to my photographs!

 

I started taking my first photographs in 1973. My father bought himself a new camera (Nikon Nikkormat EL) and he gave me his old Zeiss camera. I started making B/W pictures which were developed and printed in the "house lab" of my father.

 

In 1981 I bought my first Nikon single-lens reflex (SLR) camera (Nikon EM) that I soon traded in for something better (Nikon FM2). With this fully manual SRL camera I made a lot of slides in a lot of countries like the US, Indonesia and many countries in Europe.

 

In the middle of the 90s I traded this in for a Nikon F70, which was both fully automatic as well as manual. With this camera I made a lot of colour pictures with my children as the main subject.

 

I started the digital photography life with a compact camera (Sony DSC-P73). This camera made good pictures but nothing could be adjusted and action pictures were prohibited.

 

Therefore I bought a digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR) in the beginning of 2006 (Nikon D50). Although this camera was great, it had its limitations. Therefore I bought a Nikon D90 in the Spring of 2009.

 

Two years ago I became a member of Photo Club F70: www.fotoclubf70.nl/.
