Though I never intended to be, I've managed to become a sort of nomad. I was born in California, lived in (what was then) West Germany, then in Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and California again before finally winding up in Canada.

In the process I attended the University of Utah and the University of Toronto, met tons of wonderful people the best of whom I married and then we had a baby.

Most days you can find me as a stay-at-home Dad, part-time student, full-time husband, dog frisbee flinger, chief cook and bottle washer. I want to be an Historian/Professor when I grow up (which I keep assuring my wife will be soon...any day now...likely).

Anyhoo...I found Flickr and am addicted. I've met some cool people and hope to meet more, especially new parents who can help me navigate the rocky waters of fatherhood.

Also I'm looking for a really good steak.
