In lust with life....

It was the summer of 2008 when I first held a Nikon in my hands... It was love at first shot!

My journey began on the beautiful island of Bonaire... where I am originally from. That summer my husband and I took over 4000 photos... since then we have traveled to a couple of islands in the caribbean snapping away our "Charms of Life" series =)

Now we fast forward to September 2011... when I decided to take what I then called a "hobby" more serious. So I added another series to my photography portfolio... ROMADESIGNZ ~ EXPERIMENTAL EXPRESSIONS.

I have practiced with a few models... but I wasn't where I wanted to be yet. I was missing equipment such as reflectors and additional flashes to create what I really wanted to express... but I am happy that I had so little to work with... it made me use my imagination much more and make that extra bit of effort to achieve as much as I can of my vision.

My images are sooooo much better! I thought it was time to start sharing on flickr ;-)

If you like my work please leave a comment... maybe give me some pointers on how to improve my shots... I am learning and any criticism is welcome! I get better when I am corrected so please if you see something that you would do different leave a bit of advice =)
