Rolf Danielson was born in Malmo, Sweden. His interest in the arts became apparent early in his childhood years. Rolf studied painting at the Geteborg School of the Arts and in the Avni Art Institute Tel Aviv. He worked as an art teacher in Sweden, as well as in Israel, where he currently resides with his wife and two children.

As of late, Rolf has dedicated his time to developing his individual style, which can be seen in his later works. His paintings, that reveal his artistic talent and capabilities, have been shown in both Sweden and Israel.

"The artist`s pursuing of his art is to an aspect God`s pursuance in the life of the artist. That is, the activity is something that God, to an aspect, is doing with the artist. And because of this, the artist, in the service of God, must be humble and accept that he needs to do also other work than the actual making of art objects.

If an artist is only working with art, he runs the risk of getting caught up in himself and becomes too proud. The risk of idolatry must also be avoided.

My paintings are made in an inspired way - even when abstract - shaped by impressions of nature and of modern and contemporary art.

Important to my artistical process is the need for joy, and the feeling of being a child of our heavenly Father, depending on Him for getting a result that satisfies my impression of what I have painted and expressed in the image."
