I just started out playing around with my fun Nikon D40 recently in March 2009.

I appreciate all advice and feedback you may have about my pictures, both positive and negative. I am still learning more and more day by day and I hope to keep that up for a long time to come.

Roland is a really cool chap who takes some mighty fine pics. As a fellow Chicagoian, he is even cooler. I enjoy his work, and often look forward to seeing new and interesting things from him.

Roland's stream just keeps getting better and better. One day I was like "Damn, Roland, your stream is rockin'!" and then the next day he uploaded some more pictures that totally blew me away.

I sold Roland a lens...next thing i know, he's taking better pics then I did with it. Bastard. Seriously, his stream is varied and beautiful. Definitely worth following his work.

RV is the best city boy I have ever known. He rocks AND rolls with the images. I admire him for that, and for the way he portrays life. And he's way cute. That is just a bonus to the RV experience.

Roland has a great eye for subjects, and an excellent intuitive sense of timing. He's a fun and multi talented guy, who will continue to build an interesting and diverse folio of work, no doubt. Oh and he does crazy good abstracts too, check them out.

The lens and camera breaker, roland is a solid shooter, you'd never believe he just started! His stream is a great place to get lost and find some precious gems. A photographer to watch!

I met Roland in a dark room where I took him up on his offer to give it to me good and hard. He fell asleep pretty fast afterwards and left be staring at the stained glass over my head. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Ever since I met Roland on the Internets, his photography has not improved. Somehow he has the knack to come up with some really good keepers, no doubt due to his time in DMU. He is a friendly fellow, and always there to give good, helpful criticism.
