Hi.
If you've come this far then thank you. Compared to some I've been taking pictures for a relatively short period of time, since 2012. Initially it begun as a way of recording my weekly hill walks with my collie dog Bob. I soon begun to realise the picture taking was as enjoyable as the hill walking. Soon after photography took precedence over the hill walking as I was introduced to the amazing world of landscape photography via several online resources, especially Flickr. I'm based in the Scottish Highlands so naturally most of my pictures come from this area which has a diverse, often rugged, yet beautiful landscape to photograph. I mostly prefer to shoot in the winter months when the landscape is at it's most brutal, I enjoy the challenge.

In my view Scott produces some of the best pictures of the Scottish hills & mountains on Flickr. His composition is always spot on and always seems lucky enough to catch the light perfectly. Unlike many of the landscapes posted here he always presents, to my eye at least, colours which seem accurate and true to life. In an age of over saturated images which is too easy to do, this is really refreshing.
