I bought my first camera a million years ago when I was 18 (a Pentax Superprogram SLR.) Now I have a Canon Digital Rebel SLR & I love it. I suppose having grown up in the era of family slides (thanks to my father & his Minolta.) it was just natural for my brother & I to become shutterbugs.

I’m a bit crafty: I cart around my Rebel XT and crochet projects everywhere I go.

I’m East Coast all the way: born in Norfolk VA, grew up in Tidewater and I go to the Outer Banks every summer.

I’m very lucky: how else did I end up with my great family, the best friends in the universe, and the softest cats ever to sit on a lap? (If not luck, dare I say Karma?)
