I call myself an 'enthusiast' photographer, happy to have a go at most genres but prefer the natural world of scenics.

I worked with photography for the best part of 40 years in my ‘work’ life – reproducing for print media, the work of many Australian professional photographers.

I try to shoot images in a way that viewers can feel they are there too – as if they are seeing the scene the same way I am!

In my film shooting days I loved the colour saturation and clarity of Velvia film so now I’m trying to emulate this when processing my digital files.

These days I’m shooting images mostly as raw files on a Canon 50D using standard twin IS lens kit and and a Sigma 10-20 f3.5 EX DC lens.
