I’m supposed to be exactly what you want me to be. And I usually am, as you hardly come to me if you don’t want to be like I am with you.
Usually self-absorbed, nevertheless void of arrogance, as there is no excuse for such a distasteful and infamous attribute. A note of egoism and self-centeredness can occasionally perspire, but soon vanishes.
Taking photos is my way of making the world see feelingly what I see through the lens of my camera.
Don’t say my photos are cute; don’t be ordinary minded.
Say they are hideous and gruesome.
Tell me you enjoy that specific colour, contrast, object or image, simply just because it reminds you of nothing in particular. Tell me what you feel, as long as you feel something that you would allow me to make it mine. Allow me to place that part of you in my photos.
I must take photos.
I do not have a choice.
I necessitate doing so.
And I take addictive satisfaction from it.
Ultimately I must show them to you, try to prejudice you through them and make you understand what I see.
I make them for you, for you to see them, for you to have them.
