I have admired rockymountainroz for the entire time which I have been a member of the Blythe community on Flickr. What is it exactly which I see which most impresses me about Roz? At first, I simply loved and related to the amazing photos she took of her beloved dolls, without analyzing what was drawing me to them. My particular favorite is one of La Mer upon her horse.Now that I have learned a little more about photgraphy I continue to find it a remarkable photograph in every way: the movement, the composition, the reality and the beauty all come together in this great photograph. Perhaps you have a favorite, too! Roz expresses the wonder of so many human emotions through her photographs of her beloved dolls. Also there are many aspects of really fun fashion to check out when you go through her photostream! She is very gracious about thanking the designers of the clothes she dresses her dolls in. She has an exceptional collection of dolls, but so do many others here on Flickr. What sets Roz apart is her ability to breathe life into every photo she takes, her outstanding use of light, and her brilliant use of color. Finally makes Roz special to me is her innate understanding that we are all connected here, due to our love of our dolls. Viewing Roz's photos expresses this love of our Blythes which we all share and enhances it for me, whenever I come to her wonderful photostream. Roz is a complete treasure on Flickr.

I have been meaning to write a wee something for Roz for a while now. But where do I start? Roz is one of the first people I met with this hobby and I'm so happy to call her a friend now, its been over a year! Roz's stream was one that drew me in immediately and made me fall in love with The Goldie, well we all know where that led. Hehe. Her photos and words are inspirational and never fail to make me smile or think. Her love for her home comes through every shot and is truly beautiful. With Horatio her faithful furry companion I imagine Roz on daily adventures having fun, hiking through snow, climbing up trees and getting lost at times and sharing those moments with us. To write a testimonial about Roz and not to repeat what was said already is almost impossible. I wouldn't think I may ever try. Then, by incident, I landed on the very beginning of Roz's photostream. Without any thought I took a ride with time and I begun to look her photos from the back forward. I spent all afternoon well to the night looking at her pictures. I slowly forgot the world around and sank to the wonderful land of Rockymountain Blythes. Roz shows ultimate love for all her girls. They came, went, and reappeared in the beautiful clothes and magic scenes. I visited Moulin Rouge, checked out Vomitorium, and inhaled the cold mist at the gates of Manderley, gathering the sunshine as I went. Roz took me on amazing road, from beautiful photographs to sublime work of magic light, colored dreams, and art. At the end I felt bittersweet sadness of last curtain.….one more, please, one more of Goldies, one more of La Mer! This is why I decided to write testimonial for Roz. It is like with her photos, no matter how many there are, there is never enough. Thank you, Roz, for being here!
