Tanya is easily the most talented photographer I know. She has an amazing knack for horror, gore and visual terror. Even in photos that don't have any of these elements literally present, you can sense something unnerving and off about her work. If there was one photographer I could get to shoot a portrait of myself I would not hesitate to choose Tanya.

Tanya has a passion for prettifying the grotesque, and that thrills me to my core. She seems to be able to grab hold of 'preciousness', blow it to pieces, and reconstruct it to make something darker, edgier and more beautiful than before. When I'm shooting with Tanya I feel like I'm doing the shots I always dreamed of and before I know it I'm clambering onto roof tops, crawling through broken glass in a wasteland, or howling at the moon, while she balances up ladders or rolls on the ground, all the time with both hands clamped to her camera and a big smile on her face . Her images, whether fragile or tender, gory or glamourous, always pulsate with a raw vitality and unique beauty that comes from the lady herself. She took the first photo of me that ever truly made my jaw drop. Since then our work together has lead to me receiving some of the biggest compliments of my life - the most notable of them came from one of my heroes, Dirty Martini, who fell in love with one particular set and called Tanya a 'great photographer'. She could probably make me do anything in the name of a great shot and doubtless she'll test me on that. Simply put - she rocks.

Tanya is possible one of the most influential people i have ever met in my life. Not only does she inspire but she gives you the strength to try harder & to never give up everyday. Tanya seems to find beauty in everything and isnt afraid to portray it they way she loves not what is the norm. She has inspired me to pick up the camera and to not be afraid of what others may think. I would highly recommend any models to work with Tanya, she was the 1st photographer ive have ever worked with. A shoot with Tanya is something you will never forget.
