Beth Hamill is a Toronto-based transplanted yank whose heart left San Francisco in 2005, only to get stopped by customs when it tried to declare its love for Canadian music. They still can't find a form for that. Enjoys old cars, Gretsch guitars and rolling in the hay, both figuratively and literally.

I shoot bands because I love the music. Plain & simple. It's not about the (non-existant) money and fame. This is a labor of love, so I hope you enjoy what you see. A portfolio gallery of my work can be seen on my photoblog - Rock // Paper // Pixels.

Gear: Canon 30D, Canon Rebel 300D, Nikon FE (manual metal-body oldskool film baby), Canon 24-70mm/2.8 L-series, Canon 28-135mm/f3.5 IS USM, Canon 50mm/1.4, Tamron 17-35mm/2.8 (Canon mount), Nikor 50mm/f1.8, Sigma 70-200mm/3.0 (Nikon mount), various flashes & other fancy business.

Usage: My images are copyright. If you wish to use anything you see here, I’ll most likely be happy to oblige, but ask that you please email me first. (Because some of these images have been used exclusively in publications, this is IMPORTANT and I ask that folks please be kind and respectin'.)

Prints & enlargements of many of my images are also available for your personal home use, so email with any questions (identify specific photo/s in your email, and I can respond back to you promptly with availability and pricing).

Thank you, and enjoy!

I find her work stunning. The musicians that she photographs, come alive. I find her ability to capture the different personalties, of each and every performer, has become increasingly perfected, and I wait, to see her future work. I know by her work, that she enjoys the music, that she is emersed in "in the moment"
