About me and why I take photos of football:

I enjoy taking sports photos and enjoy traveling the state watching football being played in different parts of Texas. I have been to The South Plains, The Panhandle, Austin area, Waco, DFW, Red River NW, Golden Triangle, Greater San Antonio, Greater Houston, Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Big Country, Permian Basin & Concho Valley to watch football. It's good to share these photos with people on 6ATF.com.

El Paso, Coastal Bend, South Texas, Sabine River, Red River NE, Brazos Valley, The Woodlands, and more of the areas above will be places to see in the future. I enjoy and take photos of baseball and wrestling as well. Basketball, softball and soccer are sports I like but I'm not taking photography of them yet. We'll see.

About my odd moniker or webID. What is RocklandDragon?:

There really isn't a good reason or good story behind the name. I've used the nickname when I first signed up for 5ATexasfootball.com (now 6atexasfootball.com) and never changed it and have had it for eight years. It is a name I coined when I was wanting to play rugby for fun and that was going to be the team name: The Rockland (Midnight) Dragons. The rugby ball I still have has Rockland written on it. The Rockland is my nickname for The Panhandle Caprock, South Plains and Permian Basin put together [or simply, West Texas. :) ]. And I think Dragons are neat.
